I recorded this album using all (I mean, literally all!) equipment I had at my home studio in Volkhov, where I had moved a couple of years back. Moreover, on one of the tracks I used samples of gusli (sort of East Slavic zither), which Dmitry Dalnij provided me (thanks a lot!). The last half of the year I was busy making music more regular to me, and I wrote these pieces in a break between creating tracks for Reverb On Repeat (by the way, I used parts of it and even the entire track that I posted this on the page of the same name as a "demo") and finishing the Olhava album. It all took me about a week over three months (November, December and January), apart from the last track, which was written on February 24th, 2022.
I'd like to write a few lines about the album, which seems to have become more than an experiment for me. To give hope, to remember each other, to forgive, to love are not just words. Now, when the world has seemingly gone insane, this is the only thing we can do for ourselves, because we are not alone, we are all still together, even if they try to divide us into parts. Make drone not war.
